Keeping construction delivery fluid: Leveraging the Power of Collaboration & Data
Theatre: Infrastructure and Growth
Today, infrastructure projects require a continuous supply of digital documents to keep them on track, which has introduced a new challenge: digital information management. As firms of every size transition to BIM, they are generating a wealth of information about buildings while improving communication throughout the design and construction processes. But how can all project team members contribute to the conversation while preserving ever-increasing amounts of information? This session will explore how open formats and common data exchanges enable project teams to streamline collaboration. Attendees will learn to:
- Improve decision-making by democratising access to real-time information by mobilising and lowering the barrier to entry for everyone, from the office to the field
- Achieve considerable time savings by using a single platform for creating, sharing and managing digital information
- Leverage technology to serve the project instead of fitting the project into a technology
