CSSC Sports & Leisure Delivers Health and Wellbeing Solutions
CSSC Sports & Leisure is an employee benefit provider with a difference. Not only are its services exclusively for public sector and civil service employees, but its aims are to provide staff with affordable sports and leisure experiences as well as bringing health and wellbeing benefits. Also, there is no cost to the employer: membership, which is only £3.95 a month, is paid by employees.
CSSC Sports & Leisure has been working successfully with Bury Council to deliver staff benefits under its ‘Live Better Feel Better’ employee health and wellbeing offer.
Tom Gleaves, workforce wellbeing advisor at Bury Council, said that having a health and wellbeing strategy was crucial in encouraging employees to take ownership of their own health and take steps to improve it
CSSC offers a variety of benefits to appeal to a wide audience; savings on sports and leisure, price reductions on high street brands and days out, dining discounts and free entry into heritage sites. Staff can also invite three friends and family members to join too, so they can enjoy those benefits together.
Tom has already used his CSSC membership to receive discounted cinema tickets, a free digital tastecard and to compete in the CSSC Swimming and Water Polo Championships. “With so many options available, employees can use their membership to get what is genuinely important to them.”
Other employers might want to consider CSSC as a staff benefit scheme for a happy, healthier workforce.
